Dinosaurs Unearthed features 14 different moving, Links of London Charms replicas of varying sizes and species, so patrons can adopt a smaller dinosaur for a few hundred dollars or the largest for a few thousand dollars! Each adoption comes with a certificate, a "family photo" of the parents with their adopted creature, and sponsorship signage that becomes part of the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit. Sponsors also receive a mention and links on the Museum of Nature & Science web site and free tickets to the exhibit. Even after the Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibit closes in May 2011, adoptive "parents" will have a Links of London C Charm plaque as a permanent reminder of their "baby." While many creatures are still available, the largest dinosaur - a 50 foot, life-sized adult Tyrannosaurus Rex - has already been adopted by Lockheed Martin. "Lockheed Martin is proud to support the Museum of Nature & Science and 'adopt' the T-Rex," said Hannah Stone, Community Relations manager at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control. "We are excited about the learning opportunity this program offers, because we are driven by a desire to develop an interest in Science Links of London Cowboy Boot Charm students in our community."Hot Studio Inc., a people-centered experience design firm, played a major role in producing a series of videos showcasing the vision and content for iPad apps with Zinio and Hearst Magazines. The first video in this series is for Marie Claire and was officially released on MarieClaire.com yesterday to coincide with the release of the first Marie Claire monthly interactive issue for iPad. The videos, created in partnership with Zinio and Hearst, demonstrate innovative features that distinguish the apps as completely re-created versions of their respective magazines. Readers of Marie Claire, for example, can now experience a "living" cover, embedded videos, Links of London D Charm clips, interactive quiz, and user-controlled 360-degree views of featured items and accessories. "The work we're doing with Zinio and Hearst Magazines points the way to the future of magazine publishing," said Hot Studio President Rajan Dev.
